Live-In Nanny – Rye, NY

• Location: Rye, NY
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM (65 hours per week) Compensation: $30 - $35/hour, paid in cash

A private family is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive live-in nanny to care for their three children (ages 1, 3, and 5). The role requires creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment while fostering health-conscious habits and screen-free activities. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and ready to support a dynamic household that values creativity, respect, and community engagement. The responsibilities are split with another nanny, the ability to work as part of a team is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily routines, including morning, school, and bedtime schedules.
• Facilitate school drop-offs, pickups, and extracurricular activities. Supervise and engage children in creative and educational activities aligned with the family’s no-screen policy.
• Plan and prepare healthy, vegetarian meals during the week. Assist with light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying play areas and managing laundry.
• Collaborate with household staff and parents to ensure seamless operations.
• Accompany the family on domestic and international travel when required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience with toddlers and young children.
• Valid driver’s license; comfort driving the family’s vehicles. Valid passport for potential domestic and international travel.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are a plus (Spanish preferred).
• Highly active, energetic, and creative personality to keep children engaged. Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold family values.
• Familiarity with health-conscious meal preparation and dietary preferences.
