A family of four in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a skilled and versatile Private Chef to prepare delicious, healthy meals that align with their dietary preferences, particularly a low-carb diet. The family consists of two adults and two young children, and they are open to both part-time and full-time arrangements, ideally 3-4 days a week (Monday through Thursday), with the flexibility to work up to 5 days if needed.

  • Family Size: 2 adults, 2 small children

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare healthy, low-carb meals for the family, considering individual preferences and any dietary restrictions.
  • Create kid-friendly meal options for the children that align with family preferences.
  • Source high-quality ingredients, either by shopping locally or coordinating with vendors.
  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organized, adhering to high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Maintain an inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring the kitchen is always well-stocked.
  • Collaborate with the family to plan weekly menus and accommodate special requests or events.
  • Occasionally prepare meals for guests, with the ability to adjust for larger groups when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef, preferably for UHNW families.
  • Expertise in preparing low-carb meals and a strong understanding of healthy, balanced diets.
  • Culinary training and certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to prepare a variety of dishes, including meals suitable for young children.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility in schedule and willingness to accommodate the family’s needs.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
